Scenic Valley Area VIII Agency on Aging is part of a nationwide network of over 650 area agencies on aging. All area agencies on aging share the same responsibility under federal and state laws - to provide information and assistance and to arrange services for seniors age 60 and older.

Scenic Valley serves Delaware, Dubuque, and Jackson counties in northeast Iowa. Twelve other area agencies on aging serve the remaining Iowa counties.
