• Applying for a Property Tax Credit Income Guidelines Apply
The property tax credit is available to Iowa homeowners age 65 or older or a surviving
spouse age 55 or older or disabled homeowners. Inquire at the appropriate

Older adults in the Scenic Valley three-county area (outside of the city of Dubuque) who
need assistance to complete needed remodeling/upkeep on their homes should inquire about
assistance through USDA Rural Development funding:

There are other programs that offer assistance for remodeling to accommodate
